Wall Collapse Injures Three in Brooklyn
A December 14 incident involving a building in Bushwick injured three people, according to emergency responders. None of the injuries were life-threatening. Two victims were rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, while the third person was treated at Bellevue Hospital Center.
Reportedly, the wall of a building on Wilson Ave. near Suydam St. gave way shortly after 9 a.m. without warning. The Department of Buildings dispatched an inspection team later that afternoon, to determine the structural stability of the building after the collapse. The cause of the failure remains unclear pending further investigation.
