Baby and Two Adults Die in Multi-car Crash
In the early morning hours of July 11, a chain-reaction crash on I-80 in rockaway Township, New Jersey killed two adults and a baby. Police have charged the man they say caused the crash, who was driving on a suspended license.
According to authorities, a car and an SUV were stopped in traffic when another SUV struck the car from behind, pushing it into the vehicle in front of it. The stopped SUV overturned on the embankment and the car caught fire.
The fire grew so rapidly that no one was able to save the occupants, two adults and an infant. They were pronounced dead at the scene around 4 a.m.The victims’ names have not been released.
