Do I have to go to court after an injury?
This is an exact transcription of the video above.
Well the short answer is, I don’t know. It depends on your case. It depends on the situation. The statistics are roughly 95% of the cases that were filed don’t end up in jury verdicts and settle some time before court but it’s important to find a lawyer who prepares your case as though it is going to court and you know that if that eventuality presents itself, then your lawyer and yourself are ready to go so that’s really the most important thing that you need to consider.
You will have some involvement; you’ll be required to go a deposition in a new formal setting such as we have here today. You’ll be represented by one of our lawyers, the other side will ask you question on the road. Once that process is completed, you might be required to attend the physical examination again in informal setting in a doctor’s office. No need to go to court. But ultimately at the end of the day, court is the possibility.
