William Hackwelder Attorney

William Hackwelder joined the firm, in October of 2015, after spending three years with Gersowitz Libo & Korek, a personal injury firm located in Manhattan.  Since joining the firm as an associate, William has worked on a wide-range of negligence cases including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and toxic torts.  William is assisting with the firm’s prosecution of a lawsuit against the City of New York for people sickened by exposure to toxic chemicals dumped into Staten Island’s landfills.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his law degree from the City University of New York School of Law. William is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association.
